Every time i try to login to the game a massage comes up that says, "The DLL is incorrectly installed in the windows system directory." Then another message comes up that says, "The MSS32.DLL file cannot start. Check the file to determin the problem."
I don't know much about computers and i've screwed up my computer even more trying to fix this problem. Someone please help!

Mss32.dll is a sound driver file located in ...GothicSystem.

Try to uninstall Gothic, run defrag & scandisk and reinstall the game.

Also post your system specs.

I tried what you said, but it didn't work. But i restored my hardware from an earlier date. After doing that i installed the game and it works now. But now i'm having problems with it stalling all the time!
