Strange. If You finished the game it means You have found secret library of Xardas under monastery, created teleport rune to a secret room could have been opened only from inside. There was a chest with some things and by it on the table/shelf paladins armour was laying.

Ohh... there the problem, I never created that teleport rune, so I never found the armor as well...

@bora:
Not strange. The problem may lie on the fact that the player didn't even attempt to create the teleport rune.

@Blake84 and linkitch:

Do the following WHEN you receive Xardas' "goodbye package" in the secret library of monastery basement:

  1. After you killed the demons, take ALL the items on the table in the secret library, including Innos' tears, blank runestone and the sea map to the Halls of Irdorath
  2. Read the almanach on one of the bookstands. This book introduces you to the Paladin's Armor. This book also teaches you how to make the teleport runestone.
  3. Go upstairs and go to Gorax, the merchant mage. Buy a holy water from him.
  4. Don't forget to "upgrade" your sword at the shrine.
  5. Teleport back to Xardas' Tower. Go to Xardas' room and kill the demons.
  6. In Xardas' room, you should find a Rune Table. Use it.
  7. Synthesize the teleport runestone using the holy water.
  8. Equip yourself with the new teleport runestone and cast teleport.
  9. The Paladin's armor should be right in front of your eyes.

I may need to check my directions to see if it works.

Last dragon mentioned that I should aquire this armour due to be able to fight his master. Never tried to sail to Ildorath without it and was pretty sure (honestly don`t know why) that game just won`t let me to leave Khorinis. As I see it`s not necesseary. Thanx
