SWG: 'State of the Game' Review @ EGCore

EGCore has a State of the Game review of Star Wars Galaxies that examines the game's progress so far:
Upon launch, Galaxies had a few content issues. Part of the lack of content is perception, another part is reality. The Galaxy is populated with HUGE planets. While the Devs have acknowledged that more content needs to be added, there is also content out there few people have gotten to. Each monthly publish brings more, such as the addition of a new “theme park”, new “dungeons”, and tweaking of previous content.
You can work for Jabba, The Emperor or even Princess Leia. With Nym’s theme park being added there is yet more faction to be gained. I can see signs of things coming, like a town in the middle of nowhere in southern Tatooine that is not even on the map, but it was full of text string talk on my last visit. Yes there are some complaints in the content area, but the Developers are addressing them and there is a lot to do as it is right now.

Lies and more lies.

What a joke. They call killtasks and lowlevel killtasks (with no rewards what so ever and getting a cloak or a broken pencil does not count) for leia/darth/jabba/nym content, i guess they have never played any other mmorpgs's because this game has less content than ac2 and we all know that ac2 has almost none. This game is a chat terrain simulator and nothing else. Mby in 1-2 years they will come close to other rpgs's like eq or daoc but as it is now the game is so far from being entertaining past one month of playtime because there is NOTHING TO DO.

If you know someone who has the latest expansion, 'Trials of Atlantis', ask them to give you the free trial of the original 'DAoC' that is included with it.
