give the main character another head? I've seen some screenshots with guys I've never seen.. and I wonder if it's possible to give the main char another look.

No sir, unfortunately you're stuck with him during the game, unless you're playing a mod wher he was swapped.

By cheating you can exchange characters during the game, but since nobody wants to talk to them, you cannot solve quests.
