I share your dream!

I just did a quick scratch count and got the following number of votes (only games with 3 or more votes are counted):

BG1 - 4
BG2 - 5
P:T - 6
Fallout - 6
Fallout2 - 5
Wiz8 - 3
Diablo - 6
Diablo2 - 3
Arcanum - 3.5 (i counted my vote as a 1/2 )
Gothic - 4

I was surprised that more Ultimas and M&M's did not make the list. I have my hypothoses as to why these games made the cut, but I would be very interested in what others think .... so what do you think?

I've only played one game more than once and it was Gothic. I played that game all the way through three complete times then experimented with marvin mode for a month after that.

1 from me:

Bladerunner

I have attempted to replay tons(Baldur's Gate, Sam 'N' Max, Monkey Island) but they never got into full swing again and thus I didn't play them to the end.

I only replay games that have alternate endings/methods of completions. The games that come into mind are:

Gothic: Had to try the different camps. Great fun!
System Shock: I don't remember why I replayed this, but I did.
Pool of Radiance: It was my very first RPG so I missed a lot back in.. uh.. 1988? Something like that. I replayed it ten years later.
Wasteland: I've played this game from beginning to end probably over ten times. I still absolutely love it.
Deus Ex: Had to try all the different solutions and weapon styles. Superb game.

Mattias: The second System Shock definitely had a replay value because of the three different classes, the first one I did replay because it was so cool and because I wanted to compare the German and English and French voice acting (they were all on the same CD ans you could switch between languages while playing).

I saw this in a movie about a bus that had to SPEED around a city, keeping its SPEED over fifty, and if its SPEED dropped, it would explode. I think it was called, "The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down."
