Help please - lost save game/irreparably damaged

Hi there, just wondering if anyone could give me a 'saved' game as mine was damaged when changing to a new computer (and yes I then wiped the old machine- doh!) If someone could offer me a copy that would be great - following paladin path just starting chapter 3. TIA

Thanks for the message, if you don't mind I'll hang on and see if anyone comes up with the Chap3, if not I might get back to you, or start all over again!

Nps

same thing happened to me, i lost my saved game, but i started again, found things a lot easier, however I found myself rushing and missed a lot, but doing it again as a Merc showed me much of what i missed in my rush to catch up

tefoonez,
I have a shit load of saves but unfortunately I am a Merc. I got a corrupt save right in the beginning (thank Inos) and started saving like a wild man. After all 20 slots were filled I moved the saves to another dir except for the last and started all over. G2 is very buggy, as we all know, and it locks up a lot…usually when I try to talk to someone.

Save often...

Here’s what happens…I walk/run up to someone and hit the mouse button and the game sort of locks up. Inventory works, I can hit ctrl-alt-f8 and I jump but there is no dialog or movement and esc will not work. The only way out is through task manager| end program. Two nights ago the system locked up playing G2 and I had to power off to get out.

are you sure you didnt use marvin mode cause thats exactly what happens

or you could have got caught in scripting error the npc went about its daily routine while your trying to iniate conversation leaving you stuck there

I am absolutely positive that I do not use marvin mode. To me, that’s cheating and would spoil the game…I did however use it once in G1…I wanted to see the band Extremo in concert. I don’t think this as to do with interrupting an NPC’s daily routine. It did it once when I tried to take to the hunter by the Dead Harpie Tavern (sp) and that guy does nothing put sit there and scratch his neck…unless that is considered a daily routine.
