wrong camp

my goal was to join the old camp by pleasing all the *influential* people. one guy asks for a recipe from another dude in the sect camp. i tried doing that by gaining favor in the sect camp and thought i had to join them to get the recipe. i joined them and thought i could still join the OC but when i went back to the old camp diego doesn't seem interested in letting me join, is there a way to drop my sect camp status and join the old camp?

you do have a save game from before you joined the sect camp if not the sect camp is alright

Sect Camp is ok, as long as you didnt wanted to play mage.

Otherwise youre done for it unless you have a saved game.
