Saturas isn't taking the letter from Vatras. It was the first time I visited him. I waited till Ch2 to have Lares take me to the Water Mages, and I had the quest from Vatras to take a message to Saturas. There are no options to give him the letter though. Did I hit a glithc somewhere? And, yes, the letter is still in my inventory.

Are you a member of the ring of water? In other words, did you investigate the "missing people" quiest enough to Vatras's satisfaction.
I didn't have the option to give Saturas the letter until I was in the Ring of Water.

Wait a sec... I think I know what's going on. Do you have other conversation options with Saturas that you have not taken yet?
There is some conversation tree that you have to exhaust first, and THEN the option to give him the letter shows up in your responses.

I went through all of them. The only one that I had left was about training magic, which he refuses.

You have to give him the ornament Lares gave you as he went back to town after leading you to Saturas. After that, you have to talk to one of the other magicians about the ornament, and what to do with it(he's standing near the portal inside the ruins, Nefarius I think). Somewhere along the line here you should be able to give Saturas the letter in order to get a new quest(where you have to gather ornaments). When you have that quest, I think you can forget about the letter. |
