im playing arx fatalis and i cant get to the human city of arx, im in the crystal caves how do i get there, can someone help me

when you first come into the caves go forward and keep bearing to the right.
stair case is a bit hard to see you may want to go into options and lighten
it up a bit.

Look for a lcollection of barrels. The stairs are to the left as you face them. Can be hard to see as sam said.

one good tip, use torches in that cave really clears your sight
