How do you drop items???

Hi,
Im a Redguard and can carry 325 (kilos, oblivion weights). Around 200 is just armour and weapons. So, when I go treasure huntin, I am easily encumbered.

Anyway, my, question is: how do I drop items in the game? im not talking about how to put them in objects, corpses, or merchants, but in general, how do I drop items???

Hold down left shift and left click on the item you wish to drop.

Note that the item will only be dropped once you leave menu mode. I've had great fun running up to a crowd of people and suddenly dumping a pile of skulls, bones and ribcages at their feet...
