That's quite an unusual selection. I quite like se7en (despite never having seen the un-butchered version); dumb & dumber, although I don't think it's a particularly great film, it makes me laugh, and that's its job, right? So no complaints there. Species left me totally uninterested, and I really disliked The Beach. I haven't seen the others, but I would guess the likelihood of me enjoying the Bad Boys frachise is equal to that of a one-legged dog burying a helium-filled bone on a frozen pond (or thereabouts).
My vote went to "other;" the films on the list aren't really my cup of tea, so I could state a ludicrous number of alternates, but I'll just stick to my all-time fave: The Third Man. |

Of the movies you listed Se7en was the best. Followed by dumb and dumber. I have not seen "The Beach." I would definitely choose the "other" category. As I believe most people would. As far as me choosing my favorite movie, it depends on what mood I am in.
You should probably redifine your choices a bit. The other category is so broad compared to the other choices you have listed. Since you don't have any classic movies listed this is especially so. _________________ Always with you what can not be done. Hear you nothing that I say? - Master Yoda

Se7en out of those mentioned I like a movie where you can actually have to engage the plot for once. Although I did guess the ending the first time I saw it. _________________ The optimist sees the doughnut.

Seven is definitely the best out of these you presented, and I really liked the end (choice between vengeance and "the right thing to do?”) _________________ Money - An article which may be used as a universal passport to everywhere except heaven, and as a universal provider of everything except happiness. |

Easy choice for me ..... Se7en is the best film out of that lot. Some of those other films I thought were trash eg The Beach. Poor book ...even worse screenplay.
Se7en is seedy; a very realistic portrayal of mankind's darker side ....and it doesn't have the stereotypical "everything turns out rosy" ending that Hollywood normally insists upon. It drips atmosphere throughout the film remaining suspenseful to the bitter end. A class film for its genre. |
