Ok, gather round children and I shall tell you the tale of Nellik's sword. Many moons ago, when Gothic 2 was in the realm of slippages, the forumites used the Gothoc 1 forum as their source of entertainment. The dwelt one Max Killen (read the surname backwards, everything will make sense) who liked to tease newcomers about the legendary "Nelliks sword".

lol, the only Star Trek characters i have ever heard of haveing melee weapons wer the Klingons. the Batleth is an awsome weapon!

the Max Killen and Mrs. Mud tricked people into spending hours trying to find a sword that doesn't exist. they stopped after awhile, but i think some people are still trying to find it

I don't understand how it could trick ME? I never played Gothic, and so I don't know the weapons there. And if someone made "His own" weapon it doesn't concern ME in any way...
