ENGLISH Release - Better News

I recently mailed Jowood, asking them if the delay had anything tot do with the addition of copy protection, this is the reply i recieved,

****************

Dear Sean!

No, the delay hasn´t anything to do with that. 1. it took a while to get all the
voiceovers final and through QA.

2. And we were looking for a strong partner to distribute that internationally.
And as you might have heard, we found that partner, who will release the game
(Infogrames)

************

This means that we probably will see Gothi 2 by May 2nd and not later!

Thanks for the info Sean.

I've been wondering about the voice overs. I hope that they retained the services of the same actors for the English version (that is for the characters that we know from Gothic I) . I know that the German version had the same actors. It would add a nice continuity to both games -- not to mention a feeling of "welcome back".

This should mean that the release date (could) be before May 2nd. Infograms are a very well established publisher, so they know how to handle customers!
At least the Jowood Public Relations department know how to handle customers!
