| Can u get in Free Mine from Chapter 1? |

I am i Chap 1 lvl 27 i already bacame Mercenary and i want to join the free mine squad or get permision from Okyl to get into the mine.What have i got to do?Did anyone of you have get into the mine without cheating or killing NPC's before the quest at Chap 3? |

You're level 27 in Chapter *one* ??? 
You must have killed every living thing on the map .. LOL

How exactly have you become a mercenary in chapter one? I believe that is not possible... And you're not getting into the Free mine until you get the quest. Not unless you use cheats, anyway. |

In chapter 1 if you decide to join the New Camp if you are in lvl 11 you can go to Lee and ask him if you are ready yet he will make you a mercenary and he will give you the light armor. |

Just kill everything you see! Every person and all. Ive heard that its possible to join the mercs at lvl 10.

Is'nt the key to the little house, near the mine gate in one of the guards inventory outside the house?
Try to beat him down or pcikpocket.
Never tried since G1 is easy to break, quest wise especially when dealing with those wheel cranks.
Btw the most I got was 20th or 21st level, thou I didnt kill anyone or even knock everyone down.
Think you have to knock down all the miners low level guys first, once you hit 5th (?) the guards will hunt you.
Seems possible but would need to be methodical about it, I am guessing. |

@Acleacius,
None of the merc's guarding the gate or the hut have a key in their possession, only our friend Gorn will give pc-hero the key to the locked winch hut, this of course is without cheating and within the gothic storyline.
