I've just entered level 5 and I'm a bit confused by the reactions of the various factions. The trolls are attacking me along with some goblins, but not other goblins like the Earth and Water tribes. I assume the Earth & Water tribes are story-related so I'm not worried about them.
Why are the trolls attacking me? I have the troll-friend amulet from Greu (although I missed him at the beginning and didn't talk to him until much later) - am I supposed to do something special with the amulet? I went back to the troll king area and they're all friendly.
If they remain friendly will it matter if I kill the trolls on level 5? |

No, they should be friends if you've gotten the amulet from him.
I noticed they go against you if you accidently hit the troll which is being attacked by the goblins, so maybe that's the problem? To make it a bit weirder sometimes (all the time?) that troll won't attack you once you've killed all the goblins, but when clicking on him instead of getting the "You friend?" type replies you'll get the combat taunts, and then all other trolls but him'll attack you. |

I don't think that was it but I've pushed on, anyway. I've killed all the trolls (so far) on level 5 along with the Earth and Water goblins. I went back to the troll kingdowm and they're still friendly so as long as there's no ramifications later, I guess it doesn't matter. |

damn. i have the same problem....and another thing is i wont be able to kill all trolls - my heroe is only level5 with sword +7 dmg - 57 combat skill and 77 healt points
i made this quest with amulet much more later either
any other ideas?

It seems if you meet Greu too late (or perhaps if you sneak a look at lvl 5 before you have the amulet) the trolls on level 5 are hostile. I found no way out of this but there are no consequences to killing them. Try a few fireballs  . |

well....i killed them too...: combo missile + fireball + 2 shots with max. power
