While reading a few threads about it I have a feeling I played it already long time ago but definately not in german.
How do you get to the addon world? Thru the old temple with the water magicians (blue robes)? I remember the water mages coming with me and studying the the ruins while I go explore the world, a beach with pirates, a canyon...
Can somebody describe the new addon world please? |

You just did. You have to join the Ring of Water and do some quests for the water mages, then you'll travel to the add-on world. It's the place with the pirates, ruins, etc.

How could I have played it? Maybe at first there was only a text translation without the spoken dialogue? |

You must have played the German version with the text translation.
