I have found a book in a tower near the shipwreck.I read it and i have now a new qoest to complete.What is this thing.I'm confused  Help |

This is a side quest for more xp. Look under Gothic general and do a search here as well. It is complex and has been beat to death in the boards. Basicly there are five books to find. Each gives a clue to where the next one is, and they are not there until you find the one before it. You don't have to do this quest unless you want to. It is fun but I would wait until you are near at least chapter three to try it.

do a search for chromanin or stranger and you'll find all the info possible about that quest

Where can i find the other 4books!i searched the whole"Fog Tower" and i didnt found anything only the first book!please post what you,ve got!  |

Just read the Jemmy's FAQ and you'll find there all the possible info you need to find the chromanin books!!!!
P.S. the other books are not in the fog tower, they're scattered all around the map! every time you find a book the next one spawn in a diferent place!

search for the topic and you will find them 
just look for chromanin or stranger and you will find enough topics about where they are

I can't find the second book, but I'm sure I know where it is...
Spoiler:
I can't reach the top of the ruin tower because I have acrobatics! It's funny, when I didn't have it, I could get to the top fine, but now, it's actually stopping me. I can't find any place at all to mantle onto to reach. It's driving me nuts as this has been the 50th time I've attempted. How do you reach the top of the ruined tower (in the orc land) to get the second book with your knowledge of acrobatics
P.S. sorry for all of the extra blabbering but I'm just confused and frustrated, that's all

It's the same way, press <alt><up-arrow> at the edge. I've done it with acrobatics. What's happening? Is your point of view not changing when you press alt? Please explain.

Oh, I see what you mean now. I've only been playing Gothic for 2 days and I didn't even know what the "point of view" was. Sorry.
I was trying to go up the second ramp, then I went to the other side and tried to jump, but I never waited for that to happen.
