Hi.. i bought gothic 2 a few days ago and since then i have been playing it like a madman.. i restarted the game a couple of times because of some .. career path mistakes but now i have advanced quite a bit.. i also bought the addon.. but i started the game without it.. now i read all those cool stuff about it and i don't know what to do.. finish the game that i have started (level 20 in chapter 2.. about 20 hours+ into the game) or RESTART again from the beggining with the addon..
The game is pretty pointless right now as i have 90 in 1h and 90 in STR .. and there are 4 chapters left.. I have been reading about the addon and from what i understand the game is properly balanced now.. so.. what do you say? Is the addon worth another restart? Or should i spend another 30 hours playing this game and then start a new one with the addon?

Finish it and play another career in the add-on.

Hmm.. i'll think about it.. 
Kidding aside.. can you tell me about that nice weapon in the addon.. Beliar <something.. claw i think>
Also, i'm sorry if this has been asked many times before, but seeing how the LP requirements for weapons and skills has increased, what do you think i should increase first? Strength or 1 handed skills (i'm lookig to play 1h).. |

well... if you are already 90 in 1h, then go for strength... but if you mean what would you train when you restart. go for 1h. you can have as much strength to carry the best weapon. but you need combo's and quick movements to give it the full power. at least, that's my oppinion.

Leave gothic2 and start playing the add-on.That's my opinion.

well if i would be you i would finish first plain Gothic 2 cos some things are different in plain gothic 2 and later u can just start Gothic 2 addon and the game has a damn whole dfferent atmosphere  it will be like u played 2 different games ehe |

I was ready to play addon after I played original with every guild ...and then addon with every guild ...never boring ...now I'm playing it again and again and again and.....

I have to admit that gothic 2 is REALLY a GREAT GAME.. i liked it much more than KOTOR and NWN (two of my favs).. after i'll finish the addon i'll go buy gothic 1 and then.. i'll just bite my nails off until Gothic 3 appears ) .. well.. maybe i'll try some other action rpg's.. but none will compare with this one.. i'm sure of it ... |

Wrong order. Play Gothic 1 before you play the add-on. YouŽll meet many old friends.

Gorath is right... the spirit of G2 is better if you have played G1 before. it's like a re reunion. |
