Noclip mode for stuck character, not npc |
|
My character is stuck on the roof. I jumped down and now I can't get back up or off the roof. Is there a noclip mode that can get me off the roof?
I tried the 'fixme' cheat but since I can't jump to any level I can't get far with it at all.
Please help. I saved on the roof to find and answer and now I am stuck.
TIA. _________________ Is it me or does dte still need black pearls shoved in his oyster? Or a pink one? That would be nice!

As far as I am aware, there is no noclip mode for Morrowind. Fixme is the only escape when you're stuck somewhere.
Sometimes repeatedly typing fixme can work, although I don't know what i'd do in your situation. Maybe someone else knows... |

I tried fixme several times to no avail, but thanks, however I did try the super jump mode with a high number and it diod the trick after a bunch of whining. _________________ Is it me or does dte still need black pearls shoved in his oyster? Or a pink one? That would be nice!

Bethesda never really went in for no-clip modes. I expect because of the huge number of falling-through-world bugs they had in Daggerfall, it was deemed inappropriate to talk about them.
Morrowind has a feature called centre on cell, or "coc" for short. It's a console command that takes a cell id, which you can find out from the editor, or just guess. If you get stuck it can be very helpful - it'll teleport your character instantly to a "default" location in the named cell. Try a town name as the argument, most of them work:
coc "Balmora"
Naturally, you can use this command to avoid walking anywhere ever again, but such abuse is usually referred to as cheating. _________________ Charlie Dobbie

Thank you for that! I will make sure I don't get myself in that situation again but if I ever need it, not for cheating, I will use it. _________________ Is it me or does dte still need black pearls shoved in his oyster? Or a pink one? That would be nice!
