EOB mod level restrictions |
|
I've been playing the EOB mod by Rick Francis and have run into the level 20 cap which is a drag since many of the cool items require higher levels. He says in the text file to remove the restrictions since it is meant to be played under epic rules, but doesn't explain how to do it. So I am hoping that one of you gamers out there could explain it to me if you would be so kind?
Thanks

Fire the module up in MP mode, there is an option to remove item level restrictions. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Thanks Val,
I unchecked level restrictions but it still puts a cap on my character. I started a new game with a premade character at level 20 and it still says maximum level, so my character cannot advance only gain experience. when I change the level settings to 1 to 40 which is what EOB was made to be it changes back to 1 to 20 since there is no apply or set button. does anyone know a hak or something that will let me play a single player game in multiplayer if need be, using epic game rules with no caps? |

I don't have an answer, but I'd be interested in hearing one as well, since I'm currently playing that mod as well. A low level character just wouldn't survive. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

I said remove the item level restrictions.
It will allow you to then use an item that is beyond your level. I know of no way of removing the level cap. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

There's another way. . if you are playing it single player, then edit the nwnplayer.ini file, you will see a section that says ItemLevelRestrictions=1 change the 1 to a 0. This will also work on save files that you are already playing. |
