-I like the way you have to find the correct trainer to progres your skills to Expert, master and in the latest games also "Grandmaster".
-I like the realtime/turnbased combo.
-I like the puzzling character development system.
-I like that your hole party eventually can fly around in the gameworld, at least in the outdoor areas.
- I like the Acromage game on the bars. A card game like "Magic the gathering" or "pokemon" if anyone can relate to that.
- I like the maps showing: items/monsters and building ID's depending on your skills for the spell "Wizards eye"
- I like fighting hordes of monsters (sometimes)
- I like the huge item collection in the game, can't beet Diablo 2 though!
- I like the 1.person view, and still have a party of characters to lead.
- I like that the game has respawning of some monsters timed after 1 year of gametime. So you still can clear a hole area, and much later there will eventually come new life to the area.

They have done away with that, I've heard, all the masters, grandmasters, experts in each town are at one special building in town. |

Maggot: Oh, no I hope your sources are uncorrect, I like to find a grandmaster of a skill on top of a mountain in an abandonned area or something like that! |

I agree. It isn't boring, unless you feel you have to visit these guys often for some reason?
Also, I heard, that since they're moving to a fully 3d machine, they'll not be able to have as many monsters on-screen at once. Hence the increase in monster-AI. |

Well, I guess I can live with fewer creatures, if they make them tougher instead!
If you find a expert ,master or grandmaster you can note his/her position yourself or look in the ingame journal, if you have to level up some more before you can adapt use of his/her services. I too don't find it boring to sniff up all these teachers location, it's kind of happens anyway when you explore the world! |

The whole skill, and spellsystem has been replaced.
You will not be able to find lots and lots of monsters at the same time due to the new lightech 2 engine.
You will, however, see smarter, and stronger monsters. |
