Well, Khorinis IS beautiful, but it doesn't stop you from becoming a mage

Well, I've always been a big fan of the Ranger classes. I'm guessing the Slayer class would be idead for bows then, and I really don't mind killing dragons here and there.

On second though, I'll be a Paladin. The spells are just too fricken cool-looking.

If you like spells then you should become a mage!

I like the fire mages of Innos. Although they're so paladin-like in terms of attitude(yuck) you can still wreak havoc with armies of skeletal minions and the like. The robes look awesome but are weak compared to the slayer and pala armor...especially to the pala armor. Also it's not so easy to be a good fighter, as it is more expensive to improve combat skills for a mage. So being a jack of all trades is not possible anymore.
I think they created the mage to offer more difficulty for people complaining the game was to easy, which in midgame is true. But you can still pay a henchmen to do the nasty infights for you, makes it possible to be the artillery you were meant to be.
In the end it's rewarding to be a real killer-machine...the high level spells are sooo powerful!

I'm going to be a mage from the start. I just hope you'll be able to be a stronger mage then in Gothic 1. Even if you were in the 6th circle you couldn't rely on magic alone. I just finished the demo and I think its great, I just hope I'll enjoy being a mage this time

I think that I might be a Paladin ( I am always a paldin in any fantasy game with that option) because I love being able to use magic and beat the 7 hells out of someone. Although it would be cool to tyr something 'new' like the dragon hunters becuase the paladins are the g2 equlivent to templars of g1.

So either

For Innos!

or

For Money!
