the worst moment in this funny movie is when the great hero comes out of the ship and sees that he is in the "eye" (or something) he starts running and ''the cold" is constantly a couple of meters behind him. in the end he can close a thin wooden door behind him and the door keeps the -200 degrees outside!! now i ask you............
isnīt this the most stupid thing in the whole movie??

I liked it. It was a good apocolyptic disaster film. So what if the science wasn't right and microbursts don't really happen that way. It made for good story telling and that's what is really important--this is a story after all.

Text books are accurate but dull. Films tend to be inaccurate but fun... the pivotal word being fun. I'm not going to let a teeny thing like inaccurate details spoil the fun. If I did do that, I could never watch a single film with archers in it! Movies are for entertainment and, when it comes to entertainment, I'll take inaccurate but fun over accurate but dull any day.

And I'd suggest that you avoid double-posting. It could prove... unhealthy.
