Legacy of Kain 2 or Soul Reaver 2?

Which one do you think is better? Legacy of Kain 2 or Soul Reaver 2? I think Legacy of Kain has a better story, and better badassness than SR2, but that's just my opinion.

Haven't tried out Legacy of Kain 2 yet. But I did enjoy playing SR2 on my sister's PS2.

I tried to play Soul Reaver 2 a couple of weeks ago but I couldn't get into it. I finally uninstalled it to make room for Might and Magic IX. I've had very disappointing luck with games lately--although I did like M&M IX.

I guess if NWN and Arx Fatalis let me down I'll be out of luck until Gothic 2.

I have never tried LOK2, but SR2 is a very good game. The Soul Reaver looks really cool (too bad it drains your life) and I really enjoy using the spectral mode.

I never got LoK2 to run under XP, so it's SR for me .

Wow, you don't know what you guys have been missin. The graphics are the same, but LOK2 has a much better story i thought. He also is like a vampire-he can jump incredible distances, mind control, set people on fire, and more. Kain can also suck blood; a distinct vampire characteristic. I really recommend this game to anyone who is interested. (on PS2)

I tried both games.
I can not play games where I can not get into "my character" and I really can not get into vampire that is killing innocent people to recover his healt.
I do not say that it is bad or something, I just do not like it.
From this point of view SR2 was better, but still not very good game for me.

Btw. they are RPGs?

I think that they are rpg“s. After all you play the role as a vampire and it is a game.

Role playing game

Hey, anyone know why my pic isn't a commoner? I only have 45 posts. It's a small picture now that says Eager Tradesman.

Why c'mon guys, U can't ask such a diffucult question? And btw, I can't believe that there are any of you, that don't like the Legacy of Kain series!
I guess that by LoK 2 you must mean BLOOD OMEN 2, to be exact, as I guess you don't know very much about that there are 5 games in the series :
- Legacy of Kain Blood Omen - released i forgot when, but before 99, for various platforms, including PS and PC, a great side scrolling plotform action/RPG with the main hero Kain.
- Legacy of Kain : Soul Reaver - released in 1999 for both PS and PC, and later for some other platforms I think, which is arguably, one of the best 3rd persons around, with main hero Raziel
- Legacy of Kain : Soul Reaver 2 - released in the end of 2001, which also one of the best 3-rd perons around, with the main hero also Raziel, also for various platforms
- Legacy of Kain : Blood Omen 2 - released in spring of 2002, again for various platforms, it is again one of the best 3rd persons, with the main hero as Kain
- Legacy of Kain : Defiance, which comes by the end of the month for PS2/XBox/PC and will be one of the best games around and we'll be playing with both heroes.

With a long list of great games, I must say, that in my opinion, Solu Reaver 2 is the better game - it has better puzzles and better story, as it is directly written by Amy Heiding, the author of most of the game's story, rather than Blood Omen 2, which has poorer story, but is longer in gameplay than Soul Reaver 2

I know that there are 5 games. I didn't say anything about not liking the LoK series. I just said that I liked SR2. I hadn't played BO2 at that time.

Now please stop trying to come off as some sort of smarty-pants.
