I don't think the two games will be similiar, there was alot of "go clear my house of rats," "escort so-and-so," and "stand guard" quests that hopefully will not be found in Morrowind

Kind of like the fed-ex quests that everyone hated in BG? Well I suppose that removing them is a good thing, nobody missed them in BG2. I got the demo thanks.

But in reality they offer only "buy it".

But the fact that I did negates what you say.

EDIT: Likely the publisher has recalled the right to its product, as when I visited it the first time, I was able to download it in .ace format.

I downloaded it for free from there as well. But it didn't work when I ... uh... un-aced it for lack of a better term. I just installed it from a friends CD and hacked the game to run without a CD in the drive.

I'm not evil! The copyright on software lasts pretty much until the author ceases to support the product... which happened a year or so ago with Daggerfall. Perhaps longer.

I have to admit, I really miss Daggerfall. I own the game(and Arena), but I hate being forced to play off the the cd and cause unnecessary wear and tear on my cd-rom drive(I think Arena was the same way). Is there anywhere left where one can download Daggerfall or Arena in a form that does not require the cd?
Note: I would not ask this if I did not already own these games.
