Hi.

There's a heavy question on my mind. How do the programmers tranlate the german words in the game?

Schatten
Söldner
Todbringer
.....

I really wants to know it. I can't really imagine, that "Schatten" will be "Shadow"
And so on...

My opinion? Gothic is the best game I've played in a long while, it never gets dull. The full game isn't out here yet, but I've been playing the demos (german and english) for months, still playing.

For most games once you resign yourself to using the cheat codes it ruins the rest of the game, not so in Gothic, I keep finding things to capture my interest.

I can hardly wait to finally advance in the story, or to go to the other camps and see some new faces.

The game is beautiful to look at, the detail is nice. I don't like the 20 frames a second though, I have a brand new video card and it helps every windows game except Gothic, for fractions of a second it does go over 30 frames but only when there is nothing on the screen.
