Has anyone else seen and Irrlict? |
|
First of all, I'll say "hi" since this is my first time posting. I was just wondering if anyone else has seen an irrlicht or know what it is for because I don't. I've only seen one in the woods and it just follows me around; it doesn't attack or anything. It may give off some light or something, but I'm not sure because I haven't been into a dark places with it yet.
Here's a picture of it for those who haven't seen one: http://home.earthlink.net/~cluster550/images/irrlicht.jpg |

Hay to you too! Nice to see you here; hope you stay!
Yes, if you walk from Alliks' farm, past the Orc elite, and the next couple of wargs(run past them that is), and a little to your right, you will find one of these.. can only be killed with magic as far as I know, but it doesn't attack you either(didn't attack me, but then again - the wargs killed me soon after I met it).
See you'round! |

Welcome.
There´s another thread nearby which explains what an Irrlicht is. Such a thing went in my way when I wanted to fight an Ice Golem. Next thing I saw was my hero flying 10 meters through the air and then sliding over the frozen lake ... _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Their purpose (in european folklore) is distraction.... and that's exactly their purpose in G2. And it works. :p |

These little balls of light can be killed without magic or magic weapon. The first time I saw one I kept swinging at it with my Orcish War Sword (the orc elite's weapon). It took about 2 min or so, to hit the bouncing light 3 times, but I killed it none the less. |

No, it isn't worth the time to kill (unless it just keeps following you around, which it will!) The exp you earn is very small and it takes awhile to kill the thing. |
