It's good to have some vikings in Gothic 2 with a snowy frozen area, that will be perfect, also in Gothic 2 I still want to see more shadowbeasts(actually I admire those killer-creatures)!

Listen up folks.. you are trying to make Gothic into the exact same game as all the other RPG's out there. Why have creatures from all the other series, when you can have Shadowbeasts and Swampsharks?

Also, "Ringwrath".. as in "Ringwraith" - Nasghul? The reason why they are called "RINGwraith" is because of the rings(and the one ring) of course, so we can't use the word "Ringwrath" for no good reason.. where does the word ring come from in Gothic?

Finally a guy who likes Gothic for what it is! It's one of the best RPG's ever, so why change the "winning formula" into one of the other RPG's - which are worse?

-Never take anything I say Seriously-

-But seriously, the reason I bought Gothic was because I was looking for a game that had all the things I was looking for. It came close, closer than any other game. That's why I bought it. If G2 comes out with Vikings, Barbarians, Clansmen and snow, Great! But I'm not expecting, because I don't care whats in it, as long as it comes. However, if it where up to me I'd get carried away in creativity The closer the game is to Willow the happier I am. Stealing stuff from LOTR isn't bad either. Lotr was one reason I bought this game.-

Yes, taking things from LotR wouldn't be bad, but there must be a reason for the name "Ringwraith". In LotR it is very logical, but why would they be called "Ringwraits"? Besides, horses doesn't exist in Mortana.

As to Vikings and snow.. well, I'm pretty tired of Vikings and snow, and the reason is simple: I live in Norway, and yes, I am proud of my ancestors, but I'm NOT proud of all the snow. Besides, the Vikings never lived in snow, they lived in the southern parts of the country where you only see snow about 1, top 2 months every year.

Another thing, if you really want barbarians and Vikings - play MM9 where the whole game is about Viking-clans.

hey i live in San Francisco dude, any time i see snow its "like wow man. totally awsome dude" . and i haven't seen ANY vikings in ANY games except...like...RUNE. that was a good game. but i didn't wanna be any kind of hero! i wanted to go to that little town and fight normal vikign battles. but NOOOOO its all "I AM ODIN DO WHAT I SAY!" "ODIN SAYS STOP LOKI!" "ODIN SAYS STOP RAGNAROCK!" "GO FIGHT A NORMAL VIKING WAR! OOOHHHHH ODIN DIDN'T SAY!!"

what was i talking about? o yeah Gothic. needs vikings.
AND/OR BARBARIANS!

Well, ol' Rhobar III is having an Orc Crisis right now.

Mabe after we smack around some of the noblemen and corrupt knights, then, ...mabe there will be some room for Nordic flunkies.

Perhaps if there were some REAL animals in Gothic, other than scavengers and molerats!

Come on, WHERE ARE THE CHICKENS?! I hope all the game(animals for food) out there isnt as viscious! I mean, are the cows and sheep going to be "meat grazers" and "head butting nightmares"!

Are Vampires really such a bad idea?

For the story it can be cool! Mysterious vampires, they aren't overwhelming, it's one out of 20 you ever see one in your lifetime, they aren't very evil, and they have their own way of living, their own magic, their own skills, and IF you see one in the VAST area in Gothic 2.. you have to do everything within your power to let him/her pay attention to you so that he/she is gonna talk to you. What makes you able to even join them!

ok.. my wild fantasy.. let it be..
