Yes Gothic 2 had some funny dialouge such as the way he asked Valentino, "Is there anything else you'd like to tell me?" The main character just sounded like he was mocking him. Also the Sentenza insult is pretty funny as well as the "I just love to see you kiss the mud" insult. Overall the game is quite immersive. I was completely blown away by the fact that every single line is spoken plus the voice acting is very good which makes it enjoyable to listen to the entire conversation as opposed to simply skipping them.

This game changed my life, well, at least it changed my social life. I remember the first time I played it. It was my friends b-day and he picked it up simply because of the cool cover art. We played and next thing I know it's 11:48 PM, he's lying on the couch sleeping and I'm trying to get into the Swamp Camp (No luck).
The next day I immediately went out and bought the game and played through it 5 times within the next week. The atmosphere is what makes it so unique. The way PB turned a cliched fantasy world into this living breathing world filled with intrigue and swampweed. That's what I think makes it unique. That and the fact that you can get laid.
"The trees are alive! The treeeees, man!"
