We need remakes of this classic series! I see lots of Ultima remakes but nobody is trying to remake or create a new Eye of the Beholder game. I loved and played all 3 games in teh series back in the day. And really miss those styles of play. Dungeon Siege is sweet and love it but I like the whole view port of EoB and the turn based model.

We also need more AD&D liscenced games. Baldurs Gate I & II, Icewind Dale, etc... (I won't even dare mention SSI's torture of the classic PoR!)

Just something I felt I had to write... of course I'm sure nobody cares..

Oh well...

Well, I played two of Eyes of Beholder games. Good memories.

However if you like view style of EoB and if you like turnbased fights, nice RPG character developement, good story and perfect gameplay, I suggest you try Wizardry 8.

I do not really like AD&D rules. I do not like them in games. They do not give enough interaction in character developement and character developement is too boring and slow in such games, but that is just my opinion.

I will definately pick up Wizardry 8. Thanks for the recommendation.

Well the one thing that I like about AD&D is the creatures you fight.. there's just something about them. That's just my opinion.. and I'm sticking to it

Yeah i totaly agree they should do some remakes of old games like EoB or Bards Tale or maybe even something like Ultima Underworld.
I played all of them and i had more fun doing it than from any new game (maybe except Fallout and Gothic )

Danicek, how comes you said you cant play games with old graphics, but you say EOB's are good? I agree with you personally but you seem to be contradicting yourself.

Ultima Underworld has FAR better graphics than any EOB, but you said you wouldnt touch it becuase it looked old.

On a kind of related note. Does anyone remember an old Amiga game called Hired Guns? Kind of a futuristic EOB. That game was amazing. I still playing it on my EMU now.

I guess he ment that he would´nt touch that game now because it has bad graphic and are old. He maybe played EOB´s when that was new.

But what do I know?
