It was my pleasure. Im hoping to try this game, hopefully before Dragon Empires (or Darkfall, ect) comes out. Im only interested in a select few mmorpg games and this is one of them. At first i thought RoT was lame, but after i studied it more my opinion of it changed for the better. I think the main thing that i am interested in is RvR-based land-ownership. I watched Shadowbane for a while and at first thought it was a great concept, but then i saw the SB graphics in beta, got totally turned off. Graphics means a lot to me, although gameplay is more important. RoT will have better graphics, not great, but at least acceptable. Its the gameplay i care about mostly though.
Here is the list of mmorpgs i am interested in atm:
Realms of Torment
Darkfall Online
Everquest 2
Dragon Empires
Trials of Ascension
Even though i started out with AC1, i guess i have slowly gravitated toward PvP more and more. But only controlled, meaningful PvP, especially land ownership and law enforcement. Darktide (on AC1) was hellish to me and i didnt last one day on that server, ugh. But these kinds of games where you can team up with a group of people and defend your city against other real people, now thats cool in my book. Cant wait! |
