| missing night of the raven file |
|
hi guys, I have a problem with Gothic 2: Night of the Raven. I'm missing a file named "armor_ranger_addon.asc", so if someone can send this file to my e-mail which is necrom9@hotmail.com I would be frikin happy |

Welcome to the forum! 
This also sounds like an installation problem. Itīs rather unlikely a file is missing on the original CD. Maybe the virtual file system was not build correctly upon the first start.

possible, but I didn't find the file on cd, so i guess that the file has gone missing form the cd (but no visual damage on the cd) |

The small files arenīt visible on the CD. Itīs all compressed. On the first start the game initialzes a virtual file system with more than 20.000 small files. You could try to install on another PC. Should give you an idea if the CD is intact.

I don't have access to any computer, but the problem seems to be that installation stops on file named stats_menu.d. any ideas how to fix that  |

In one the threads about the add-on in G2 General somebody explained how to install TNotR from your hard disk. Then the CD is only needed for the CP check.

No, I canīt give you a link to the specific post because I neither remember where exactly it was posted nor how itīs done. There are only 2 or 3 longer threads about the add-on installation. If you donīt find it you can ask there.
