| Thieves Guild quest - Security specialist for South Wall |

I think I've searched all throughout Balmora for the past 4 hours. I can't find where this security specialist is supposed to be. Could somebody please give me a name and location for this? I'm going nuts here... thanks! |

That's amazing, I came to the board for the EXACT same reason. I don't even know WHAT I should be asking..I've been ALL through the town. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Look on the west side, bottom homes beside the Odai river. I cannot remember his name, but I believe he is Breton. Hope this helps |

Wow... this is definitely not fun. I know I can go and do pretty much anything else I want to, but I wanna advance in the Thieves Guild!
Anyway, I did some poking around in the editor... The name of the person we have to find is Hecerinde. Still have no idea where he is, but at least we have a name now.  |

Can anyone give me some help with the third thieves guild quest? I went to Hla Oad and talked to the guy with the artifacts, but he just says "what artifacts?" and I can't steal from him since he is watched all the time. Couldn't find them in the lower caverns either, what am I missing? |

Hecerinde's house is the first house directly east of the northernmost of the 3 foot-bridges.
For the third quest, I worked around it. I got a Blade quest to search for a Dwemer Puzzle box. In cleaning out the dungeon looking for the puzzle box, I found the 3 items that you need to give Sugar-lips. Two of the 3 were easy to find since there were about a dozen of each scattered around. The was only one tube though, so you have to look around a bit for it. Give Sugar-lips the items and you won't have to worry at all about the guy in Hla Oad.  |

Since ya'll are on the third quest, can I ask how you solved the second?
I've found the Council Club and the servant in question but it's pretty much impossible to sneak out to him to pickpocket since he's standing in the middle of a crowded room. Worse yet, he doesn't seem to be carrying the key.
I went to the Manor hoping that it would possibly be lying about, but no luck. The Lord of the Manor had the key when I (sort of accidentally) killed him, but I'd rather not resort to violence.
Any advice?

The second quest - Butter the guy up, get him to like you. If you're an Imperial and have the Voice of the Emperor ability, use that. Then bribe him. 10GP should be sufficient if he likes you enough. |

click the JOB than SOUTH WALL
the elven (a?????) topic becomes available
the specialist is in a house. his name starts with a T ...
pretty ezy but i was looking for him for ages too |
