Xardas in Gothic II

Does anybody know what role Xardas plays in G2?? Ive read a lot of threads that say he is a bad guy, but Ive also read that Xardas is the one who rescues you from the underground temple, and that he needs your help to fight off the 4 dragons that have entered Myrtanna through some portal created by the earthquake or something like that. So which one is it- is he good or bad???

There were some contradictory reports so far - all we can do is speculate about Xardas at this point.

what do you mean reset it? if it shows that option it means i didn't really press it. i tried to press the quote thing and i noticed that the blue button had a box around it (meaning i had clicked it) i pressed the stop button like right away. does that mean it's ok???

As soon as you hit that blue button the mods for the forum get an e-mail reporting it.
When I reset the blue card it takes the red line box away and lets other mods know that the problem has been taken care of.

i hope a few of your friends of gothic will be coming back in gothic II.
Xardas, milton, diago and some more.

Not all carracters can come back, because you killed most of them.
Like mud, stupid basterd.
Maybe his brother will be there, or some other irritant [CENSORED]

The interviews say that several of the 'old' chars will be back, some of them will have to be discovered though.
And please, Xerox, mind your language.

We don´t censor your opinion, only the way you express it. Expressions like 'This game sucks because .... ' can be okay (at least in the Gothic forums) if you give arguments in the same paragraph. The line is somewhat floating, it depends on the context. Directly addressing people, even only NPCs, as 'f...s' is not tolerated.

The tone on the RPGDot forums got a lot more aggressive during the last few months. We´re not absolutely sure how to reverse this, but we´re working on it ...
