I have a big problem!!!

i'm at the end of the 5th chapter i'm must save Stone but i can't go in the prison of the castle
can someone help me ?
P.S.
i have the key but the doors doesn't open

you know that room with the guy ho knocked you out in the start video.
enter that room and walk as far as you can and then turn right and walk
down the stairs.
now you are in the prison.
