Problems with Geforce Ti4200

Hi men, i have a problem with my graphic card. Gothic II doesn't work with resolutions upper than 800*600. I have already read the Faqs, i downloaded the raccomended drivers (44.03) and the files of Gorath (vsfg ecc ecc).
My pc configuration is: Amd 2400, so w98, geforce ti4200 128...
With upper configuration i have the same problems of the others 3d (like "help game wont start or others)
thank you for your help and sorry for my bad english.....

With upper configuration i have the same problems of the others 3d (like "help game wont start or others)

Can you try to write it once more in other words?

There are several versions retail/oem of this graphics card and have slight variations, they are very dependant on the motherboard/chipset and main memory configuration as well as opperating system, (my pal uses win/xp and its o.k) you must have installed the latest chipset .inf file, how much main memory do you have, what is your mainboard model/version is your bios up to date (if required)

1. your graphics card should be o.k to run
2. your cpu is o.k to run.

what version direct X ?

O.k,

You must have your dma's enabled for your hard drive and your cd-dvd/rom
some dvd drives will not read, you must have plenty of free space on your hard drive, 2.2gb for files and extra for saves.
Do the direct X tests show good results? Have you disabled virus checkers and firewall/type programs. how many running processes do you have? can you check if your cd's work in a friends machine? you didn't give your motherboard model/version/chipset ? how much and what type of memory?
Please return some info's

Free space: 1.74 Gb
Directx tests seem to be ok, running process are Explore and Systray when i try to start the game.
My mb is a Asus A7a266 with 512 mb of ram, when it's possible i promise to check my cd's with another pc...

Thank you for the patience....

Hey BoBo_Fell,

1.74gb is not enough, you need 2.2gb plus room for plenty of save games,
free up some of your hard drive space, maybe uninstalll some little used programs?

Good luck
