!!!Note to all the players!!!:
could you please, from the next bets, write the score in this way?
Denmark-France 0 - 1 ()
Senegal-Uruguay 1 - 1 ()
Cameroon-Germany 1 - 2 ()
Saudi Arabia-Ireland 0 - 3 ()
(so if the first begins writing Denmark-France the others please couldn't write France-Denmark?)(better if you take the real names and the exact match name from www.yahoo.com --> in the centre there is the exact match)(the quotes are for the points...)
...so that i could make more easy the compilation of the .txt
Thanks!
WORLD CUP DAY 12:

Don't worry i'm happy!
If you (all) have opinions or comments or suggesions tell here and we can make a even better game!
I've watched the match between Germany and Cameroon and... WOW !! Nieto (the referee) had always the yellow card at hand... 14 (i can't say exactly, i've lost the number near 10) yellow card!! Does anyone know how the Germany would play the next match? with 2 goalkeeper (because the others are all "miss next match")?
btw: i've assigned 1 point for the right winning eleven but not the exact score and 3 for the exact score... _________________ =Member of the NonFlamers' Guild=

No, but definitely without defense.
Something else, guys. This thread is exploding. Donīt you think itīs a good idea to open a new thread exclusively for the betting? And maybe replace this thread with a new one when the group games are over? Iīm sure Val will fix them if asked. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

@Starfox: Naturally you are disappointed about today but think about what France have achieved in the last 4 years. You can't stay at the top forever but I'm sure France will be a force to reckon with again soon.
@Gorath: You may have a point. Yog?
I will postpone my new bets till it settled. |

Hee, hee, reading the first posts in this thread I must say that Germany did pretty well compared to many of the teams you guys said would win. It maybe wasnt the greatest game today (although second half was decent, considering the 10 vs 11 situation). I dont think the yellow cards are that much of a problem, most of the german team is on the same level, so the second choice shouldnt be worse than the first tier. Actually not having Ramelow might be a good thing . But that referee really was a bit out of it, wasnt he
Still, I am really sorry for France, they had such a great team these last years, i dont understand what happened. |

The Germany - Cameroon game was not even brutal! The referee gave yellow cards for almost every body contact! A real shame.
The German team will simply have to deal with the situation. The last time they had to replace so many players in a tournament was Euro ī96. There it proved to be no real problem. Of course nobody should expect them to play beautiful soccer.
I asked Val to make the other thread sticky. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |
