| gothic2 notr weird problem |
|
hello fellow gothic lovers! ok , i installed the expansion, i installed the translation mod, and the game starts as a window in the middle of my screen (like 1/2 the size of my screen) and not only that but after some talking with xardas the old gothic2 comes in and everyone is talking english and about the eye of innos!
i need some new gothic! its all a farse i m telling u.
please someone... |

Did you start the game with gothicstarter.exe? You can't start the expansion by clicking the normal icon.

yes and i chose the english title and pressed spielen.
I forgot to mention that I updated to 2.6 as soon as i installed it and the starter wouldnt work so i system restored it to 2.5
my main problem is that gothic 2 interferes into notr and the first chapter is the menace all english and familiar.
for my graphics problem i dont know maybe its my driver.i ve got nvidia gf440go and my driver is 44.68 pretty old |

yes i didint realize that it starts in the same way and that whenever the lines r the same as gothic2 they appear in english! I realized as soon as i saw the first guy who wants my help with the bandits. As for the video problem it was a setting on my nvidia driver that was changed when i installed notr.
who cares i ve got a brand new gothic story now!
its the best game i ve ever played ! too bad i have to listen to german voices but we ll all cope with that.

v2.5 has lots of small bugs and at least one plotstopper. Some dead bodies arenīt where they should be.
