Yes, control over time itself generally results in enemies having a bad day. Imagine that.

I have two characters... i am playing the single player game as Wynchester Verdai, a human monk, and multiplayer as Aktankin Verdai, an elven ranger. both are great.

but personally for the single player game i think the evil monk guy is the best. he can fight, stun, everything. and those annoying chests? they can block physical, but not magical! he gets a +2 cold damage, so even those chests that resist 40 points of damage still get hurt by his cold! so he takes the thief's place there, takes the barbarians place with his expert fighting skills, and he heals himself well... hehe. 2 monks are a great team. anyways. my ranger is also cool, the animal companion is great for single OR multiplay!

UNless you look for 'local characters allowed' games you do need to make a new character for each and every game you play in, yes.

Local Character games are full of Level 20 Characters (my Level 11 SP character imported to play in Local games had everybody around him considered impossible)....I have yet to dare into a PvP server, prefering the RPG area..

SP now, I'm really digging the Bard, she can pick locks like Tomi and when she sings, man, I'm attacking 4 Times a round with my Monk gift...Not much going to stand up to that.

Don't remember who asked but the most powerful character (using D&D 3e) would have to be a lvl20+ monk. They aren't considered mortal at lvl20, they are outsiders. No diseases, no age penalties, many abilities (I like going etheral), and the stunning attack/quivering palm. I have no clue as to the max lvl in NWN yet because I don't have it yet. ()

Tell me the max. lvl in the game and I can tell you the most powerful guy going by the rules.

My first char was a pure halfling Rogue. Ended up being bored by him.

Tried few mages but they were just BBQ meat for the enemies.

Current char is a dual classed Monk/Rogue. I believe she's Monk(7)Rogue(3). I like the overlap in sneaking abilities for the rogue and monk. When I get into an area that has locks and traps too high for my skill, I level the rogue side. This is mostly because I like being a self-sufficient char. She double wields kamas (+2 and peasant's something or other--+1 with bunch of damage resists). With flurry of blows, she is a windmill of destruction.

Well, let me throw my boy into the mix:

Name: Aits Sirier
Class: Wizard
Race: Half-elf
Familiar: Raven
Alignment: Neutral Good
Henchman: I don't need no stink'n henchman

I'm loving the 3E rules, even though I'm a noob to them and there is much I don't understand.
