Yeah i guess this is cool, but why aren't the FREAKING FINISHING UP THE ENGLISH VERSION!, i frankly don't give a HOOTA that a Add on might be coming, well...when we finally have the english version, THEN i can be happy with this news!

Enough of this uninformed bullshit, guys! Do your homework before you hijack threads.  The responsibility assignment between developer and publisher and the consequences for Gothic II have been discussed in many other threads.

I didn't see anyone talking about "The responsibility assignment between developer and publisher and the consequences for Gothic II".
We were just expressing our opinion that we would be a lot more excited about a Gothic 2 Add-On if we had the retail English version of G2 in our hands.
Its very frustrating to see an Add-On in the works when we don't even have the Full Version yet! Nobody's saying that it's the fault of anyone at PB. I think we all know that JoWood's the one holding up the English release.
We were just expressing a little frustration. |

By the sound of that I think its clear that he thought the english version wasnt finished yet on PBs side and that is also the statement that several persons agreed with.
An add-on sounds great to me, allthough they could always start working on Gothic 3 instead |

Dont think there has been any announcements on that, but if you consider how well the german version of the game is selling, I think we can rest asure that the add-on will be released in english aswell.
When that release will happen is another question, my money is on Q1 2010 |

After re-reading the first couple of posts, you might have a point there. It all depends on who "they" referrs to. Personally, I assumed that "they" referred to JoWood.
Anyway, it's not worth making an issue of. Hopefully, the English version will come out soon and we'll ALL be able to play G2 and look forward to the Add-On! |
