| What is the Troll Amulet for?!? |

I now have two of these Troll Amulets and still the Trolls attack in the tunnels. I can't figure out how to use the thing. According to Greu, it will keep Trolls from attacking, but how do you use it? Thanks.  |

Hmmmm.
i thought you just had to keep it in your inventry. I had one and was never attacked by the trolls, have you angered them in some other way? Killed one or stole some of thier stuff and been seen?
How did you get a second one? Did you free that troll that was locked up? Maybe that turned them against you...... |

I am not sure why they attacked. I did not steal or kill any of them. I finally had to start killing them, so I have gathered about 8 of the amulets. I just sold them to the black marketeer in the caves. No one else that should be friendly has attacked, so I am not worried about it now. Thanks.

if u attack the trolls on the 4th(i think0 lvl b4 u get the amulet from grue, they r already hostile and no necklace will cure that . i did the same thing 1st time thru. 2nd time , i didnt enter the lower levels until i got the amulet , and i have new friends |

On a kinda similar note, does wiping out the goblins have any effect on the actual game? I'm kinda tempted to empty the treasury, but I keep getting caught. |

if u find the book on business and finances (or something to that effect) and give it to the troll king, the trolls dont need the goblins anymore. in a little while, if u return to the goblin city, u will see them all in the main hall, and they will attack u! harsh fight, but worth it. it remains to be seen if it has any negative repercussions since i just did it myself lol. gl |

Yep...Just did the same myself. My only worry was that gates would not be opened for me anymore, but they just stay open after the slaughter. Don't forget to clean out the Goblin Kings treasury.  |
