A post at the Dreamcatcher forums points out an unofficial <a href="http://www.dreamcatchergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26513" target="_blank">German v1.4 to English mod</a> for those that can't wait for the developers to sort out those "technical difficulties". Early reports from the forum seem to indicate it works fine but obviously use at your own risk. |

Oh god...that's funny. The fans have been able to release the patch in English before the actual PAID employees who work for Heuristic. Wonderful. Bravo to them. Boo to Heuristic.
That's so pathetic. If they can do it, why can't Bradley & Co.? |

All they have to do is, basically, re-write any changed dialogue into English.
Oh wait, it takes two months to QA a patch because they are unsure how to translate "Here's a key to the inn" from German to English.

It is already posted they are adding content to the 1.4 English version, ie testing it with the plat release, from what I recall. |

Shimbatha, you are making a vast assumption it is that simple. Do you have a lot of experience with the dungeon lords engine? QA takes a long time, it is not just a matter of reading through all the text and making sure it is translated correctly, the QA team will have to give it a full QA run as they are different versions. |
