I hate lord hagen
   

merc. lev 35 my crew:vatos,lee,tarlof,lester and bennet.I did the castle gate quest.the game does not give me a hint either to move lord h or to get tarlof to sail. got the auth. from the judge.I read the sea chart as well I'm out of ideas. little hint thanks

If you have the written note from the Judge, go back to the Harbor District until you see a bunch of ship guards (they will be labelled as "Ship Guard"). They are at the beginning of the path to the ship. Talk to one, and give him the written authorization. Now go towards the ship, and on the way, the Paladin Girion will stop you. Bully him into coming with you, then tell your captain to set sail. He will give you a key. Look aroun the ship until you find the captain's quarters, and go inside. You will see a cutscene of your ship leaving. Congrats, you are now in Chapter 6.

Pick up everything on the ship though before you leave there's some stuff that won't be there in ch 6.

And pickpocked all your compagnons before leaving, you'll be able to do it again in chapter 6
