I'm new to this game and I have a few questions that I was wondering about:
1. Where do I get armor?
2. Is it ok to go around beating up diggers?
3. How do I increase my magic level?
4. How do I get spells? (orb-thingies?)
5. How do I increase my stats (str,dex...)?
6. Why was that FRICKIN' annoying little
reject Mud following me around?!?!
7. Was I wrong in killing Mud?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

I guess you donīt want too many spoilers, so Iīll keep it short.
1. One for free if you find it, others have to be bought. Armors are status symbols.
2. Yes, but donīt kill anybody and donīt let the guards see you.
3. become a mage, then learn circles
4. buy them. 3. is required.
5. find teachers and invest skill points.
6. His whole purpose was to be annoying. Obviously he succeeded.
7. No.

- After you join a camp you get free armor, but you can buy one from Fisk before that.
2. Is it ok to go around beating up diggers?
Yeah, sure thing!
3. How do I increase my magic level?
You have to become a mage of fire, mage of water or a templar to do that.
4. How do I get spells? (orb-thingies?)

5. How do I increase my stats (str,dex...)?
Just talk to Diego about it.

Just beat him up, and he'll go away.
7. Was I wrong in killing Mud?
No, I hate the little worm.

Okay I'll answer your magic questions. To get magic cycles find a trainer, and ask them to teach you that circle. Before though you either have to be a novice, templar, fire mage, or water mage. Also if you want to be a mage choose old camp or new camp. To get runes you can buy them from one fire mage, a water mage, or one of the gurus. But, you can't use them without the magic circle level they require. I'm putting up a website decidated to Gothic magic, and I'll post it here when I'm done if you want. I hope I answer your questions about magic. Have a good quest. O yeah, I think killing Mud was fine. He is quite annoing.

Stop being so hostile towards Mud. He did not do you any harm and in fact he is trying hard to be nice to you.
The fact that he is a little different from other people (probably autistic) is no reason to try out all your evil ideas on his fragile body (although he does burn better than other NPCs when you put him on fire).
Please just be a little more patient with him. |
