My character is at level 3 with a few hundered XP for level 4. I have done these:

1. Done most of the influencial shadow quests
2. Been to the sect camp, didn't do any quests there
3. Level 1 in One-handed Sword
4. Level 1 in Lock Picking
5. Light Digger Armor
6. Short Sword (the best you could buy from that shadow in the market)
7. 300 Ore

Now, what do I do? I have promised Dexter to get the recipe for him, but I don't want to steal it. I could recruit Dusty for some XP and get favor of a Baal though, then perhaps I could become a novice to get the recipe. It looks like I have to become at least a shadow to deliver the letter. Can I switch camps after that?

Should I learn those animal skinning skills for the hunter? If so, which skill first? Where can I get a bow? Where is the new camp? Is there an easy way to make money or get XP?

Thanks!

Oh my.

You'd might as well ask us to play the game for you.

You don't want to steal the recipe!?! What are you, a Christian!??! A Catholic!?!? hahaha...

You HAVE to steal it. You'll be doing a LOT of stealing in this game.

But I don't want to trick those religious fanatics because of those slave masters.

Actually it's admirable that you're playing the game the way you want to play it (ie: as an honest person).

However, you have to realize a couple of things because they form the foundation of the whole game:

-you are a convict
-you are in a prison, for all intents and purposes

That doesn't mean you have to be cruel, but it does mean that you are not operating on your own rule system. You're trying to make your way through the world based on the rules the 3 camps have established.

If you really listen to what the NPCs tell you (especially Diego), you'll begin to understand this. In particular, listen to what he tells you about stealing the recipe from the Sect camp. You are stealing to survive.

As to the other questions, you really should just play the game. Part of its great appeal is that you need to constantly figure out how to live in Myrtana.
