What are you talking about???
Enchantments comes from souls, not weapons. And what do you want to summon? A ring, a sword or a constant effect? Please be a little more specific, and Iīll gladly try to help.
Oh, and as usual when i reply; Use the search! This topic and that blasted codebook takes up about half the spoilersection.

For example, say i was enchanting my sword. I can choose either, Cast when used, cast when strikes, or constant effect. When i try to enchant other things like boots or gloves it only says cast when used. Is their anything else i can enchant to have constant effect besides my sword?

It depends on the maximum encantment value of the item. Exquisite rings for instance has a value 120 ( I think ), but since itīs not a weapon you can only choose cast when used or constant effect. But what it REALLY depends on is the soulamount in your gem. You can ONLY choose constant effect with a soul that hads 400 charges = Golden saints or Ascended sleepers. And once again, use the search, this has been covered over and over and over.

Depends on how you see it. To kill Dagoth you need to find a helluva lot of stuff and run back and forth all over the island (well ok it isnīt needed, but you get the picture) Vivec you can just walk in and hack away. But who is the better fighter/most HP, I dunno. What I DO know is, that if you have the Dragonbone Curiass, Dagoth is as tough as a Barbiedoll vs a bulldozer, as he only casts firemagick at you. Vivec i donīt know as I never fougth him. Yet

Constant enchantments come from very powerful soul gems. Golden saints and ascended sleepers are the only ones that work. But you can put a constant effect into any item you can enchant. I have a few 30gp rings with 15pt constant enchantments, such as water breathing and water walking. You could even make a common ring (2gp) with a constant enchantment, if you could find a useful spell that would only take up 1pt.

(before ppl start flaming, I mean a CONSTANT effect that is useful. The only constant effect 1pt I've found is damage self once per second. Sell it to npc, they die a few minutes later, misc causes...)

Vivec is by far the hardest of the two, since he has 3000hp, and some evil lightning mojo. I was able to "kill" dagoth in about 4 blows, then went for the heart.

Very useful, I have a few items I've made like that. But the base cost for a 1pt restore health is 25 enchantment points. Big difference.

Aight, but still. First time I realized one could make your own magical weapons and such, I spens hours just trying out different combinations. My favourite then was "Ilmethir", a badass daedric claymore with firedamage enchantment. Cant remember how much though....

My fave item I've created is "ring of wide damage"
80pts damage in 40ft. Works about 80 times before a recharge. Might as well cheat.

Recently created an "amulet of burning pain"
100pts health damage, 100pts fire damage, touch. Whee

Not to mention my rings of daedric defense and offense. 2 rings, Permanent bound armor, dagger, and bow
