Not unless you get an Administrator to do it for you.

you mean my post count won't go away if an admin does it for me, or my post count won't go away unless and admin does it for me?

I think Val means that you can change your name yourself by stopping using your current account and opening a new one, in which case your post count will obviously start at zero and your old posts will not be credited against your new name. However, if an administrator changed your name by editing your account details directly you would keep your post count and your new name would appear against all your old posts.

However, the changing of a name is something that is done only rarely, and only with very good reason. You're probably best off contacting an Administrator or a Guardian via private message and discussing it with them.

Exactly. I think Jaz is usually the one that handles this stuff.

I think Jaz will be unavailable for a few days at least, so if you do want to contact her, be patient and she will get to you soon.
