Wh wont my sound work on my comp.And for all those jokers yes the speakers r pluged in and are turned on.I dont really know what happened cuz i was at sea at the time.My bro was home alone and when we returned it didnt work anymore.He wont tell what happened so please advice me what to do

Check to see if
1) It's not muted in the system tray
or
2) The drivers are still installed.

how can i acsess the sound control if its not in the toolbar shortcuts

If there's no little yellow speaker in the right corner (by the clock) then you'll have to go to the control panel for it.

so i checked and found out nothing was wrong no mute etc..But doesnt it mean that if the drivers r not installed then u cant play any games cuz i can

Most games don't DEMAND a soundcard be present to run. I'd check the drivers (Start-Settings-Control Panel-System-Device Manager) and if nothing is wrong there I'd a) restart the computer, b) unplug the speakers and replug them in just to be sure, c) reinstall the drivers just to be sure.

Then just go with turning off the computer, unplugging the speakers, plugging them back in, turning on the computer, and hope for the best.
Someone else who knows where to be looking in the device manager will have to take a look when they're around.
