So i guess Bioware finished the game in the first week of November (last Friday). The Xbox version came out last July, so it took about 3 months to polishing and adding few extra contents into the game.
Hope it will better than the Xbox version!. _________________

Does that mean you played the Xbox version and have some reservations, Remus? _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |

The delay was in the x box contract with microsoft.
such as halo... and biowares next game is x box only.
I think this game sold a lot of x boxs by doing it this way. |

I hate all sorts of consols. First we wait 2 years for HALO than a couple of months for the pc version of KOTOR. The future are the camputers because even X-Box hardware is old.CPU 733mhz and Ge-Force 3.We have 3Ghz cpus there is no place for comments here . _________________ If you gonna run, you'll only gonna die tired ! |

what do they mean when they say a game has gone gold? I always thought that when a game goes gold, it includes all the sequels of that game in one package. But in this case, only KOTOR is out and no sequels. So how can it go gold? |

Gold is a stage in publishing where they have the game in the state they are going to ship in. If I recall correctly, it refers to the gold template that the CD printers use to make all of the games.

Bad news for people in the UK - KoTOR has slipped a week. According to Amazon.co.uk and Play.com that is - it's now out on the 5th of December. Damnit, I'm SOOOO looking forward to it. I can't, for the life of me, figure out WHY it has slipped seeing as it's already out in the US.... ah well. |
