Morrowind: Dalin Takes New Job At Bethesda - APY to Take Cha

In a rather surprising announcement, Dalin (the founder of the Morrowind Summit) has announced that he's accepted a new job as Associate Producer for Bethesda Softworks, and will thus be re-locating in the very near future - making it a necessity that APY take over the task of keeping the Morrowind Summit running smoothly (with help??)...

I've put off posting the news here until it was 'official', and I received my offer letter in the mail yesterday afternoon. Crazy... I know. Unfortunately, this means I will no longer be able to run this site (conflict of interests, confidentiality, etc.), but trust me, I haven't kept my little pet project alive for 3 years to see it fade away.

As it stands now, I've asked APY to take over the controls (which he is still considering), but he will definitely need some additional team members to help keep things in order. Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate Xeen for over a month now (anyone know what's happened to him?). Please bear with us until this can all be sorted out.

I'll definitely be around until the day I head up, so you will see a little more from me, but I thought I would take a second and say thanks to everyone in the community whose supported this site over the years. All the thanks and praise has really made this little labor of love a monumentally worthwhile venture. I have had a blast meeting many of you, and building some wonderful relationships. Believe me when I say this isn't the last you be seeing of me, it's just that next time we speak, it will be slightly more cryptic, and a touch more biting. :p

APY has also posted up some 11 new mods onsite.

Congratulations to Dalin. It's always great when hard working members of gaming commuinities get rewarded like that. And congratulations to Bethsoft, they have a great new staff member.
